Around 2.00, is there not a gap at the beginning between D and UD? at least that’s how it sounds.

  10. Giovanni Marini says:

    Is it 4/4: D(1/8)U(1/16)D(1/16) – Mute(1/16)U(1/16)M(1/16)U(1/16) – U(1/16)D(1/16)U(1/16)M(1/16) ?

Out of many videos on YouTube I like learning from videos the most man, coz the way you teach it seems you get more happy than the practitioner if all goes well and he /she ends up learning what you told. Also that your guitar skills seems completely as per the theory and books and standards and at the same time it all seems sooo much instinctive, just love approach towards explaining Sir. your Great work man.

  33. Julie Nielsen says:

Watched the 15 strumming lessons for free. Then ordered the digital lessons. Great deal. You are such a good teacher. And you play a Taylor. How cool is that?
I’ve taken some lessons and have learned how to pick some melodies over the years, but I’ve learned so much more already from those free lessons and these Youtube videos. I’m 58, and didn’t get interested in playing the guitar until I was in my early 40s.

  34. Farhad Ali says:

    I like you very much

  35. Farhad Ali says:

    You are the best teacher

  36. Christoph Haug says:

I’m having difficulties with this one and I’m not sure if it’s actually as well taught as the other ones or if it’s just me who doesn’t get it. The thing is that I like to read/write the downs and ups in such a way that whenever the hand goes down or up *without* strumming the strings there should be a gap for each “missing” letter. So in the video, it says DUD U U UDU, so if I make the inaudible movements visible with small letters it looks like this DUDudUdUdUDU. But I can’t get that to work (probably because it’s 6 beats rather than 4 or 8). Instead, what works for me is DudUDudUdUdUDUdu. But I don’t think that’s what’s shown in the video. I guess I’ll have to watch it some more times to figure it out…

  37. Daniel PASCAUD says:

Very patient and good teacher. Thanks

  38. Daniel PASCAUD says:

For the first time I find practising strumming fun !
